The Program

BCA Dance is designed for the intermediate to advanced dancer, offering 37 credit hours, during our 9 month program.

Our focus is to develop the true heart of an artist by giving space to explore, dream, and discover. BCA Dance is designed to fully immerse the student into a creative atmosphere that trains them physically, mentally, and spiritually through the artistic expression of dance.

Courses include ballet, contemporary modern, jazz, hip hop, improvisation, choreography, dance history, dance pedagogy, personal and professional development.

The dancer’s work week includes approximately 22 hours of technical, spiritual, and practical training.

The program helps the dancer identify and define their personal purpose and gives them the tools necessary to succeed in those goals.

Some people seem to think good dancers are born, but all the good dancers I have known are taught or trained

“Choreography, on its own, is a skeleton. It’s up to the dancer to bring it to life”
