The Program
The Creative Leadership Program with Specialization in Film & New Media is designed to train and equip creative leaders for kingdom influence in the areas of ministry and film.
BCA in partnership with Visible Music College will empower you as a leader and filmmaker to be creatively entrepreneurial, bringing innovation through ministry and storytelling.
The vision for the Film & New Media Program is a one-year intensive journey, which covers all three phases of production in an immersive, hands-on experience with working professionals and masters of their craft.
Learn all of the essentials of Pre-Production, including story, script and concept development; scheduling and budgeting; casting, location scouting and more. Get real-world production experience shooting short film projects, while learning everything you need to know about lighting, blocking and capturing pristine video and sound.
Dive into post-production, learning to sculpt your story’s edit, sound and color.
Our working, professional faculty have decades of experience writing, producing and creating high-level narrative and documentary films like Bright Ones, Heart and Hands: Iraq, Unplanned, I Can Only Imagine and Jack Ryan. Their commercial client lists include major brands like Nike, Microsoft and Apple and award-winning labels like Bethel Music.
The next great wave of revival is coming through creatives

Film & New Media FAQ’s
What is the difference between the BA and the Certificate? . . .
The Certificate program is a robust introduction to the performing arts. It includes voicework, beginning acting technique, dance, and our unique BCA courses like Wholehearted Artist and Dream Circle. It is not a quick path to the industry. The Certificate program is perfect for people looking to enrich their podcasts and YouTube channel presence, explore the performing arts as a potential career, or get excellent training in order to establish a drama ministry. If your goal is to pursue a professional career as an actor, you will need to choose the BA program. Development of craft takes time.
Do the credits from the Certificate program transfer to another college? . . .
Transferability of credits is always at the discretion of the college you are applying to. Generally, certificate level credits do not transfer into BA programs because the courses are not as rigorous.
What if I do the Certificate program and want to transfer into the BA? Can I skip a year in the BA or transfer my credits over? . . .
The certificate program courses do not substitute for BA courses. There is some content overlap but the BA is definitely next level in terms of commitment, homework load, and intensity. Due to the nature of our curriculum and the Conservatory structure, students who have completed the Certificate and want to apply for the BA program will need to complete all 3 years of the BA.
