Shayna Acosta

Dance Instructor

Shayna Acosta is from Tulsa, Oklahoma but currently resides in Redding, CA. She is the Associate Director for Link Dance Program with Bethel Conservatory of the Arts, Creative Director of Legacy Creative, Inc. and Owner of The Impossible Movement Workshop. Shayna trained under Dallas Power House, Planet Funk, and Tulsa Ballet. She has a background in Gymnastics, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Ballet, Jazz, Jazz Funk, and Break Dancing. As a Gymnastics Coach, she trained under Geza Pozsar the Olympic Floor Routine Choreographer.

As a Dancer, You can see Shayna dancing alongside “Hanson” in their award-winning VHI/MTV music videos, along with sharing the stage with 4 Time Grammy Winner Israel Houghton, Hanson, and other artists. Shayna has been the Movement Director and Choreographer for several national TV commercials, and Music Videos, such as Weston Horn & The Hush “Just Can’t Stop”. She recently worked as a dancer with VeggieTales in their new music videos “Pants” and “Pirates that Don’t Do Anything”. Shayna has worked as an adjunct professor at Oral Roberts University and Tulsa University within their dance programs.

Shayna is married to Adam Acosta. Together they have created several hip hop dance crews that have been showcased and won national awards at venues such as World of Dance and Hip Hop Internationals. She is currently working as a Professional Choreographer, Master Class Instructor, Competition Judge, and Convention Master Class Teacher.
